Peace of mind, explained simply.
Every vehicle comes with insurance and cover for accidents. For extra peace of mind, we also offer an optional damage waiver and NOC cover. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask our staff when you book.
Third-party bodily injury: unlimited per person Third-party property: unlimited per accident (excess ¥30,000; ¥50,000 for 8- and 10-seat wagons, aluminium box trucks, wing trucks, refrigerated trucks and microbuses) Vehicle damage: market value Passengers: ¥10,000,000 per person (up to the seating capacity) Damage above these limits and the excess are paid by the customer.
¥670 / 24 hours (tax incl.). With it, you do not pay the excess after an accident. It does not include NOC.
¥360 / 24 hours (tax incl.) on top of the damage waiver. If the car is damaged in an accident, we charge a non-operation charge (NOC) for the time it is off the road: ¥20,000 if it can be driven back to the store, ¥50,000 if not. With NOC cover you do not pay this.
Cover may not apply when driving without a licence, after drinking, extending without telling us, or not reporting to the police or the store. Tyres, keys and stains inside the car are checked separately.
First make sure everyone is safe. Call 119 if anyone is hurt and 110 for any accident. Then call the store. Please do not settle anything on the spot.
